3rd Annual Adopt-a-Family

For the third year in a row the Omega Iota Phoenix Alumnae Chapter of Omega Phi Alpha (National Community Service Sorority) sisters have adopted a family for Christmas. We give them gifts like shoes, clothes, toys, home goods, toiletries, furniture, beds, bedding and bikes. This year we adopted two families for Christmas. Family 1 & Family 2 are both comprised of single mothers with 3 children in each family. Family 1 lost the father and family 2 has children with special needs.
We want to thank Ms. Coco/ Omaya and Chae for helping us find deserving families. Huge thank you to U-Haul for donating a truck to deliver all of the Christmas presents. Thank you very much to Christina Jutting and Brian Jutting for sponsoring the event every year. And to all of the sisters who donated presents, their wrapping and card making skills and time helping us deliver them.
